Classes of Membership

Active Membership

 Active members shall be those who indicate their willingness and ability to respond to fire and ambulance calls and attending at least one-half (1/2) of the meetings, or  combined total of (30) thirty functions, emergency call, scheduled trainings and scheduled work nights during the preceding firemen’s calendar year, which shall be January 1, to December 31.

Life Membership

       Life members shall be those who have had Active membership in the Company for twenty (20) years or more, and who are recommended for transfer to Life membership list. The twenty years will be based on the year they joined.

Contributory Membership

     Contributory membership shall embrace all that are not within the above classification and will not have any of the privileges of the Company. Also any person requesting membership in our Company and who is a member of another Company and doesn’t live in our district will be considered as a Contributory member. This applicant must have a signed recommendation from either their Chief or Ambulance Captain of their Company. These applicants will be exempt from State Police, Child Welfare background checks and yearly dues. They will be limited to the disposable equipment they receive.

Probationary Membership

   Probationary members shall be those who have successfully requested membership in the Company and who have not yet completed serving a trial period.
